I've asked for a publisher watch/tracer be put on, talked to our Postmaster, talked to a guy at the USPS St Louis hub where supposedly one hold up is..............and it ALL falls on deaf ears. On my "normal" delivery it shows up on the 27th...................it ain't here yet on the 28th so it must REALLY be late this time. Oh yes................I have members 12 miles from me that's already gotten their's also.
Shooter still nothing here either!! Its the low life's that work in the St Louis bulk mail facility. I doubt that it will ever be fixed. Ya know they are over worked and they do have rights!!!!
I don't mind the Restorer showing up late because its just something to read. But the club may as well not ship us the Driveline and save the money. Because its useless by the time it gets here.

"Lace", You got that right!!! For any of us poor saps on the tail end of the Driveline delivery looking for parts we are SOL!! Glad I finished my restoration last year and not looking for anything in particular. Shooter

P.S. I called a guy last issue about it a part and it was so far gone by the time I got my issue he forgot he even had the part to start with!!!

        Guys
Well spoken. Still have not got mine either. It is not worth the paper it's on by the time we get it. We need more of this unionized government in our lives. Hope Obama Care does better than the postal system. Ha. You know, I would gladly pay the additional postage to get it in a reasonable amount of time. What would the NCRS think about that? For those who want it that way? Maybe that last 10 pages would have to be blurred though.

          1) How many Members outside of the dozen St. Louis Chapter Members have contacted their NCRS Regional Director by email about not receiving the Driveline?
          2) How many are using the on-line Driveline function?

            Gary,

I use the Driveline online precisely because I live in St. Louis! I think we need to bring up the "ebay" type of listings on the NCRS site again. Can we at least catch up with the last millennium? Did I say that? Or did I just think it?

              Gary,

              I did contact NCRS.

I have used the March-April issue online either 2-3 times, had trouble once with connection. While I truly appreciate NCRS's effort with the online version it still is not the same/ease to use as having a copy in hand with using the zoom and searching the ads. My hard copy usually has several "chicken tracks" in it by the time I get thru it the first time marking needs or wants. I could never get anything for my Driveline issues if I ever put them on Ebay.

Those of us (NCRS members) that may come across to other members as "bitching" are not asking for any special treatment or extra service from our club.

              Thanks,
              Shooter

I must be jinxed cause not only have I not recieved my Driveline hard copy, I can't get past Page one of it on the online version. It's having trouble with my Adobe reader, or should I say my Adobe is having trouble with it.
                    I give up.

Dale, try FoxIt Reader instead of Adobe Reader Gary....

I would suggest that you go to your local Post Office and raise cain. The first NCRS Board of Directors meeting that I attended, over 20 years ago, late delivery was a major topic of discussion. And this was when it was first class delivery.

It is a KNOWN fact that any mail that goes thru the St. Louis center has delivery problems. STL is recognized as the worst of the worst PO mail centers, with Detroit running second.

NCRS was advised the following by the printer & shipper. Gary....

Restorer/Driveline current mailing was delivered to the USPS ADC in St. Louis or the USPS SCF in St. Louis on 3/17/11
