1967 427 fan shroud-radiator ?

any way to tell a 427 shroud from a small block?
Will ncrs allow a aluminum radiator as a replacement or will that be a problem?

Mark,
You can do anything you want to your car your heart desires, NCRS can't stop you.


Now as identified in the forum last year, 66 - 67 - 68 BB 427 shrouds are very different year to year, and are no way even close to the 327 version that takes a much narrower radiator.


If you are looking for guidance on what to do, if you plan to have the car judged or want to some day do so, then you need to go original.

427 used a copper radiator and they are available.


The shrouds are another story, none of the repro stuff is even close.

I know where one excellent 67 327 SB shroud is, and a partial 67 BB, they take patience to find and restore...

The Dewitt's radiators do pretty well in judging . . .

Joe agreed there, I couldn't find a difference in a 66 side by side comparison.
