I have had this deep grove alternator pulley (measures 3.37" O.D. by 0.80' wide, see photo) for over 20 years and have never been able to identify it. There are no stampings on the pulley and it does not have a keyway. Is is slightly larger than a 3844100 pulley (measures 3.20" O.D. by 0.83" wide). I thought it might be a 1970831 pulley but that is just an educated guess as the 1970831 pulley was replaced by the 3844100 pulley.

...yet another apparently original pulley with no part number stamped on it. Whatever the part number is, I'll bet the GM drawing specifies that the part number is to be stamped on it.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
