I recently bought a pair of NOS inner door seals, 3826873/4 for my 1963 convertible. The packages were old and torn. When I compared the lenghts of the two fuzzy seals the left one was 30-13/16" long and the right one was 31-9/16" long. I held the seals up to my original door panels and the longer right one, at 31-9/16", matched the door panel length perfectly. Here's my question. The seller claims that the parts are indeed correct for my car and that the left shorter one is how GM intended it. I find this very hard to believe. Someone also told me that the shorter one is actually for 67 converts, a one year only piece. This seems plausible for sure. Can someone please look at their door panel inner seals on a 63 or 64 car and verify for me once and for all that both sides are the same length and measure that length? Thanks guys.
