58 trunk board diluting
Has anyone diluted down the too dark stain on their 58 trunk board, if so what did you use, mine is a little and would like to see grain better. Thanks, Brad.

Brad, I assume you are talking about the repros that come stained. I saw one where the owner used 0000 steel wool and it came out pretty nice.

Thanks Chuck, tried that and it took too long so went to a sanding block which worked great, lot of scrubbing either way but looks great. Thanks again. Brad. P.S. do you or anybody else have any pics for the 283/230 that shows exactly where the vac. can goes on the fender in comparison to the bottle for windshield wash system, is there an exact spot it has to go? would like to get this perfect if so, also do you need both vacuum fittings, rear carb with hose nipple as well as the hollow fitting that replaces the left rear corner bolt on the back carb mount flange for these to work right?
