Re: Master cyl. 71 w/power
Michael,
As you probably know, the forth edition of the JG, page 75 (17)calls for 5480346 for power.
Check out Corvette stainless steel brakes on the link for further info. No where the number
he gave you.

It must be his eyesight!

Re: Master cyl. 71 w/power
Thanks Ken. I thought it might be his eyes. After checking with CSSB I just ordered one from them. Not much more than what the rebuildable core I was persuing would have cost me. Thanks for the lead. Mike- Top

I've been over this before. The casting number is 5460346. Period. I don't care how much it might APPEAR to be 5480346 or 5460349 or 5480349 or any other number someone might see in it.
Among other reasons, I can find absolutely no record that any part numbers in the 548xxxx were ever released. In fact, that part number range might not even have been assigned to Declo-Moraine or any other GM division. But, if it was assigned to a division, it was not used.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Thanks Joe, I should have checked the archives. I have limited reference material here but knew it was probably a case of poor eyesight. Thank you.- Top
