    Cleaning up Casco element

Any suggestions on how to safely clean up my original cigarette light element and receptacle?

    Thanks,

I don't want to be insulting, but please disconnect the battery before cleaning the receptacle.

Bill, Try steel wool, thats what I did with my 72, and worked great, use a small blade screw driver and wrap some steel wool around the blade, this will clean the receptacle, and clean the element by hand.

To clean up the element, tape up the outside of the element and lightly glass bead just the element. Cleans it up like brand new. Be sure you blow all the glass beads out of it when your done.
