'66 Belts

Anyone know when seatbelt date/month began for 1966 Irving belt label as no month seems to be listed on some original early style 1966 label belts. Were all 1964/65 dates used up before 1966. Reason is I'm considering purchasing belts (early style) for car born 2nd week august '65. Car currently has very late production '64 belts, which appear original to car. Color is saddle. Therefore, will an original 1966 belt label be correct for a Sept. '65 built car, or is it possible the original late '64 belts on it currently are correct. (Goes against 6 month rule, more like 8 mo's). Know Saddle color may have not been used as commonly as eg. Black.

Sonny, I am sure there is a belt expert here, it might be the exception if it is a really rare color and your car was built mid August and was one of the first in 1966 taking this color interior? If it were black, red, or another popular color, it would be questionable stock sat that long.

Thx. for response. Just wondering if has come across before and if / what is the longest date offset anyone has seen on seatbelts. Car, belts currently on, is Black w/ saddle, born Monday 2nd week of '66 production. Saddle interior not as popular, though car appears w/ it's original components. Agree, '64 date atypical for ncrs standards.
