    Proper C2 hoisting

Hello. as a new member and first-timer here, some of what I ask might sound a bit amusing to many of you. But give me a chance. I'm a car guy
that loves to drive his babies, and (some say) there are no dumb questions.

I just acquired a sweet, show-quality 65 fuelie coupe and need to get
her up on the hoist to tweek (detail) some of the undercarriage - which
looks great to the untrained eye . . . but certainly needie to the trained.
I'm not sure where to position my (4) lift points (of my 2-post Aresco hoist). My intention is to detail the undercarriage to the same quality
as my engine bay - (which is sweet), which lead to my next question:
How do I acquire a 'rules' book to understand what NCRS quality should
be, and what it looks like ?

    thanks, jim

Thanks Terry and Matt for gettig back so soon. It is a sidepipes ride - so when I first took a look under there it was clear I better talk to someone in the know. I will do as you suggest . . . positioning, tweeking and repositioning til I know I've got it right. And the open/closed doors thing was also appreciated. I'm never sure when to ajar the doors - with radtops only; some glass bodies; or none of these ?

Pictures will follow one of these days as soon as I figure out how to manuever on this site. (had a heck of a time trying to figure out how and where to reply - in fact, probably did it wrong). thanks again, jim
