58 Washer components
Are the Bottles,lids, pumps, cannister, and hoses etc. you buy from say C.C.correct for judging without point loss, or point loss due to repro.?, if so what is the deduction? Thank You, Brad.

They come 'close' to being on the money compared to factory original parts with the lid being slightly different in terms of emboss (font + placement; varies by year).
The last time I shopped their catalog, they weren't supplying a fully 'restored' ready to install WSW system... They gave you bits and pieces that you had to put together (used original pump for you to install on their repro cover using their rivet set, Etc.).
My experience is not good with this approach! The vacuum WSW system was marginal when it was new/factory fresh. Used original parts that have dried out will typically have high friction and simply NOT work smoothly...
If I were you, I'd beg off buying the bits & pieces and go to the recognized pro (Jay Maxwell, see his ad in Driveline) to source a complete debugged system with you supplying as much of what's original that's still on your car. Otherwise, I fear you're going to experience a hair tearing episode of getting all the pieces, putting them together and THEN trying to figure out why this/that doesn't work!
Last word of advice. Once you get the system together and operational, DO periodically exercise it and do NOT let it run dry and sit!!! -
