Hi Matt, You can't beat the sound of an FI car. You do nice work. Your early '64 looks and sounds fantastic. Glad to see you are having fun too. JD

thank you all for the compliments. i can not take all the credit. i was merely a parts chaser for what we needed next. i got to give most the credit to bob williams who put it all together for me and took the time to explain it all to me as he put it together. i also have to thank all of you for all the great advice along the way. i will continue to learn all i can about these vettes. they are truly a passion and friendship building hobby. thank you all again.
its supposed to be 45 sunny today and the roads are clear. if anyone hears a 6,500 rpm 327 shifting in ohio, it is most likely me.
            take care,

Great job, Matt. Are you going to have it judged?

                hi paul,
i want to have it judged but only in a way to make it all correct. i am not looking for awards by any means cause the paint and interior and underside needs restored. the paint is shiny after a wetsand an buff and the interior is all original with the exception of hurst shifter and patchwork on drivers seat. i am really wanting a correct car that i can enjoy and not have to trailer. i love the original look. it gives history to the car.

Matt, back in the day, you would need some empty White Castle cartons on the passenger floor to be truly 'authentic'!

The Off Road exhaust sounds really good. I really want to do that, but the car wasn't ordered with it. Anyway, congratulations on a really great looking and sounding FI car.

thanks tom. i believe mine might have been ordered with offroad but not 100% sure. but i did find a midas receipt in the glovebox that showed offroad muffler replacements. it wasnt a welded system and thats what i wanted. i kept the old ones as they were in good shape. but i do love the sound.it's a nice deep sound thats not too obnoxious.
