      Yes I've been using that for a long, long time. I did use that on this bypass hose too, but not the first time when it leaked. I still have to refill the cooling system and test everything, and ready to add the new heater hoses, etc. Hmmmm, good reminder. I'll put some on those too.

            So after seeing John's info I've been looking at pictures of BB bypass hoses. Most I see have the clamp screw with almost all of the threads exposed on the side where the nut is. They look unusual that way.

            I went back to the Zip site and looked up the SB clamps. Those look smaller than the HC-614, their part described for the BB engines. The pictures may have been taken at different heights but it sure looks questionable to me. If the BB clamp is supposed to be smaller OD than the SB clamp, something appears reversed. I'll give 'em a call today to ask......Rich
