1957 Corvette Wheel Cylinders
I would like to know if the wheel cylinders are a judged item for a 1957 Corvette. Are the wheel cylinders #'s judged also or not and what about the bleeder screws? Thanks!

wheel cylinder cast # , to be visable to the judge, would require removal of drums which doesn't happen during ncrs flight judging. when it comes time to sell, prospective buyer may want to see the cast #'s. as far as the bleeders go, there was a small recessed hex head bolt that threads into the bleeder itself. gotta remove the small bolt to bleed the brakes. as i recall, the bolt has a captive external tooth lock washer as part of its makeup. gary pronesti has the correct bleeder with the bolt. reasonable i might add and no, i have no commercial interest in mr pronesti's operation. he's justy a good friend, albiet half nuts . mike
