Vent window removal

I'm trying to remove the vent windows from each door of a 65 convertible. I would rather not remove the big window. The Vent window seems loose, but I haven't been able to get them out. Do I have to remove the big window in order to remove the vent?

Are you trying to remove just the triangular vent window, or the entire vent window frame assembly? The procedure for each is covered in detail, with illustrations and photos, on pages 1-16 and 1-17 in your 1963 Corvette Shop Manual. You don't have to remove the main door glass for either procedure.

Yes I'm tryiny to remove the entire vent. My problem is I'm trying to do it without the AIM which I know is a mistake. I just wanted to get these out today. Thanks
