    Front Bumper Installation

I have been restoring a 1965 corvette Orig big block car for the last eight years, thank God I'm close to finishing it, I'm installing bumpers now I have a question concerning the front bumpers in brackets, on the lower bracket after mounting them to the frame they seem to be lower than they should be, how close should the lower brackets be to the fiberglass, there is some indintion on the fiberglass, my questions is how close should these brackets be to the fiberglass on the front end of car.

My other question is what size hole should it be above front parks light for bumper bolt.

Taking a measurement from the indent down to lower part of metal bracket on the outside edges (inside is much harder to measure) it was about 2" on a Mar64. Yours should be around that. As for hole its larger, but do not know size since bumpers are on.
