This a minor detail but nevertheless, the 66 JM states; typically, BOTH of the "tangs" on the French locks are bent over the bolt head whereas the 66 Assembly Manual states; bend ONE tab tight against flat on bolt.
Seems to me that the AM makes more sense because a hex head bolt does not have a flat 90 degrees apart to accept the lock tab correctly.
Again it's very minor! ------ just trying to do things correctly.
