Can anyone tell me the stamped letter and color for the broadcast code on a 1967 37 amp alternator.

Don't ever remember seeing a stamped code on my original 67 37Amp alternator.

But I could have missed it

Tim --- you've probably seen this pic before, but it's not a "693". Stamp located at the boss for the R/F plug. From 1100696 42 amp, 5G7 date w/LL79/76 or 84 pulley [if that is a factor]. At least this shows size, location, and what might be a faded dark red color. The letter seems to be "H", in this case.
