I'm planning on attending the Novi National Convention with my wife and kids (kids ages 11 and 7, wife ??). There's a host of activities planned, hopefully many that would be great to do as a family. Can anyone comment on which activities are best for the whole family? What the kids experience now drives the future of the Corvette hobby! Thanks!

Recommend signing your kids up for the Youth Program Activities. Many of the kids attend and participate in the youth program. They even do a pinewood derby race one afternoon. If you need more information on the Youth Program, contact Joan Burnett joanieburnett@gmail.com

Erik, like Gary says, there are some activities centered around children planned. Contact Joan Burnett or Jeff Salz for more info. As well, there are numerous local draws too, some of which are convention events. I see you are from PA. Have you ever been to the Henry Ford (museum) or to Greenfield Village? These are FAVORITES of mine. Located in Dearborn, MI - home to Ford Motor Company and to Henry Ford - the museum is a collection of everything Americana. Similarly, the village is a collection of significant American (and one or two from UK too) buildings and structures. The set up is an old town environment, complete with brick and dirt roads. Only village-owned Model T's and bicycles drive on the roads. All others use foot power. If unfamiliar, GOOGLE them. You'll love them, I promise. Check the Driveline write up for more detail.
There's a zoo nearby in Royal Oak. There's a day trip to the Ann Arbor Art Fair planned. Another day in Frankenmuth (Bavarian Village) will take place. I'm sure others will ring in with plenty more ideas.

In addition to the events mentioned by Don, we are planning many "youth only" activities every day on site. Although not all of the activities are totally planned as of this writing, we are going to have a youth judging school and actual judging, Pinewood Derby, movie night, game days, scavenger hunt, to mention a few. We are going to try to engage the "future of the hobby" every day so they will look forward to returning and being involved with the NCRS. More information will be published as the plans are solidified. This is the first time I am the team leader for these activities and am leaning heavily on those with experience like Joan. Is there anyone else out there who would like to lend a hand?
