The last four numbers of the booster part number, along with the Julian date, are stamped on the rear part of the booster close to the attaching point of the front half. These numbers may be anywhere on the circumference of the booster, so you may need a mirror to look at the underside of the unit. When they are on the top part they are easy to see, but if on the lower half the can require some contortions to discern.Terry- Top

Tankyou for the reply.I have my brake booster off and while I was sanding I found a small daub of yellow paint and figured I had an original. As I was sanding on the front half about 9:00 I found 069B 9092
Do you know where I can have it restored ?
Thanks Jeff- Top

Re: 1970 Ls5 Power Brake Booster
I can't help with a restoration source, but you have the stamp information.
9092 is the last four numbers of the part number.
069B is not quite what I would have expected. Four numbers should be the date. This might be the 69th day of 1970, but I would have expected another number in there somewhere. I would be guessing at the B, although that might be second shift.
We haven't judged these features because sometimes they are not easily seen, but maybe it is time to include them in the TIM&JG and have at it.Terry- Top
