63 wheel weights

Can I use wheel weights for a 63 that only have oz. imprinted but are not Micro brand and be ok? Perfect Equipment Company brand?

And can I have weights on inside and outside of wheels and be ok?

Can spare have no wieght on it and be ok?

Can't seem to find the Micro brand, does anyone know of source there?

John, sounds like your using repro bias-ply tires for judging, correct?

The weights should be on the inside.

Consider this, if your only using the wheels and tires for judging, don't use any weights.

I do have repro bias ply tires. I don't drive the car very much, so if I take off all weights will that have an effect on the car if driven from imbalanced wheels? Was going to drive it to the next judging, about 35 miles each way, most on freeway at 60mph speeds, but maybe should just trailer it?

If you have access to an old style bubble balancer try and find the heavy spot on the wheel. Then do the same on the tire. Finally mount the 2 heavy spots opposite each other. Might just be good enough for what you are doing. I don't use weights on my show tires.
