    64 fuel injection progress

i just thought i would share some more pics of my engine. i am so happy it's in the car. as you all can see i still have a few misc pieces to attach. but i just couldn't wait to show you all. i hope you all approve. i love it.
i didn't detail the engine compartment because the rest of the car looks so original other than an older repaint. i just love the original look with the fresh rebuilt engine sitting in there. i will add more when all is on where it belongs. also, i put in an aluminum aftermarket radiator in there to protect my investment.

Looks great, Matt !! With all of this snow we have coming, you should have some time to finish that up so you can get it up the road to St. Marys to take me for a ride !!! Can't wait !!

Looks Great. I have a '64 300HP and I had a '64 Injector for long tome ago. My injector got burned badly in a house fire. I sold the parts to someone a couple of years ago. Sure wish I had FI car. Hope you enjoy your car, it looks great just as it is.

thanks for the compliments guys! sorry to hear about your fire and fuel parts loss dale. i do plan on driving the wheels off this car. i believe i am putting it together to be dependable such as adding the radiator,
          msd coil(painted black),plugs and wires.

Matt, It looks great. It appears you didn't paint the drivers side front frost plug or am I seeing things? If you didn't, why? Don H.

              hi don,
we had the block and heads powdercoated. so assembly was done afterwards. i didn't know if they were to be painted or not. are they supposed to? thanks for the compliments. this is my 1st chevy engine. i have been into pontiacs so this chevy language is new to me. i do love this car and engine though. it's amazing how addicting it can be to try to make sure everything is correct.
              take care,
              matt
