1954 Hubcaps

What color red are the stripes in the 54 hubcaps? Are they Sportsman red, or some other red. Whats left of mine looks more like Venetian red, but could be that they are just badly faded.

Also the blue inside the Bowtie area. Is that going to be Testors blue, or does anyone know for sure?

Hey you guys out there in 54 land. 36 hits on this post and no replies. Have to assume no one knows the answer to these questions. Red and blue don't sound too difficult, but if no advice I may just have to paint these things........purple!

Hi Dan, They have decal kits you can get for these, Paint would be nice but takes forever to apply, decal stripes try and curl up on you sometimes after a few years, dont know the color though, sorry. Brad.
