Can Anyone Recommend A Installer In The Seatac Area To Install New Soft Top On C-1?

On the Eastside you could try Phillips Automotive at (425) 828-4734. Marty came highly recommended by multiple sources and has been good the times I've used him for C1 services, I can't say for certain that he does soft top installs. -

If you do find someone make sure that they have done a lot of c1 and know 100% about adjusting the raw frame of the top to the windows and most importantly to the windshield header and fastened to the back soft top lid and to the header and that they know to watch the pull on the front header when they are clamping it down so as not to pull the header away from the glass, after they have got this correct they then can fit the canvas to the allready correct lenth frame, have seen too many so called good installers put the canvas on the frame then sinch them down and thus pulling windshield apart, and yes they will try and hide it or not fess up, these corvette windshield frames are crap and need minimal pull on them to stay together. You might want to differentiate further - there's a BIG difference betweem
53-5 C! tops and 56-62 C1 tops.Comment
