Another eBay Dreamer On The Loose..

Here's another dreamer, who needs further training in PhotoShop techniques; why does the seller's ID and item location look familiar?

I know who that is from the car and selling dealer. My take is they are just putting it online to get exposure to find the first 3 owners. A cheap way to advertise globally.

I don't get what the eBay description's reference link to a "Corvette Fever" article on the subject of searching for original owners, by A. Colvin, has to do with this particular car.

I know the seller as well. I think Rich is right and the article is to clue you off as to why it is on eBay. My guess is eBay would not want to be used for the purpose of research so he can not come right out and say it.

I only hope that all my photoshopping in The Restorer looks much better than that photo!

Remember when you guys were slapping up this guy?

I recall for a good year...heeessssssssss baaaaaaaaaaaack, and more.

              In December he went away.

Please read the entire ad, most important the VERY LAST line and tell me if his $32 per month was successful or not???

My 1995 vert is one of two with the same specs. Guess I can get at least a million (HA). Most Vettes are probably one of x (single digit).

If I had a junk motor and a set of stamps, I'd stamp him a 7103xxx motor.

Better yet, ask him if he has change for a 2,000,000 dollar bill.

This is the guy that paid $380.55 for the big block bypass hose.

And if you believe that line, do I have a deal for you in a bridge. It will show up again with the "original" motor. Reminds me of a deal that was pulled some years ago. Don't remember the fine details, but a gentleman had a wrong engine car. One (some) of his buddies "find" an ad with an engine for sale that "matched" his VIN. Was a set up deal. His friends had a block stamped, arrange with someone out of town to conviently have the engine for his car, sell him the engine for big bucks. Clipped him for several thousand dollars. With friends like that who needs enemies??

I know the owner of this black coupe. He's a nice guy, but mis-informed, quite stubborn about staying that way.
