    62 Turn Signal Lever

    1. what color is the end of the original 62 turn signal?
    2. Why does the lever not go all the way into the body?

      Roger,
The end of the 62 turn signal lever is white and it has ribs on it.
The lever has a wide nut on it so you put the nut on the lever, screw the lever into the turn signal mechanism untill it bottoms then tighten the jam nut.

Two different 62 turn signal levers with locking nut. Car#10975 & #00029. I hope this is what you were looking for.

Also. The chrome locking nut has a chrome washer under it.

          Hope this helps.

Is the locking nut on the treaded end of the turn signal.
Does the end of the turn signal have a white grip?
            thanks
