1978 Paint & Trim Code Help Needed

This is the trim plate from the A pillar of my 1978 corvette. I was under the assumption that the code for a single color car was just 82. The car has a two tone paint job on it now. Silver on top and 82 Mahogany on the bottom. I know that they only painted two tones in silver/Grey and Black/Silver for pace car.
In my last post someone said that they have seen cars painted with 82L and 82U but mine just says 82L
Give me some ideas if this is ok and I should repaint with all 82 Mahogany paint code

Hi Heath ! This is your car and you should enjoy this car the way you want. If you are asking what is correct and how it should be judged. The car should be all mahogony. The tu tone on this car was added after it left the factory.

The "L" stands for "lower" or the area beneath the belt line. The L is not needed on single color cars, but it shows up in paint codes.
