How different is the 69 BB end tank from that of the 66 67?

They do an excellent job on the 66 67 427 radiators.

They're different. For one thing, the 66-68 big block copper/brass radiator has a filler neck on the right side tank. The 69-72 big block copper brass radiator uses no filler neck on the radiator tanks and uses an external supply tank (like small block aluminum radiators).

As far as I know, nobody as yet makes a reproduction copper/brass radiator for a '69 BB. I went with the Dewitts Direct Fit aluminum on my BB and could not be happier. I have no overheating issues down here in Miami hot summer traffic. Make sure to have Dewitts paint the radiator black...they do a super job and don't plug up the core with excess paint.

Just as a suggestion...remove your core support and put the whole package together on the bench, including the fan shroud. You can do a much better job getting all the new seals in their proper place...a must for cooling your BB. The Dewitts is a little thinner so the top seal requires some extra attention.

...and the DeWitts Direct Fit aluminum replacement for the 69-72 big block copper brass radiator has a cooling capacity greater than ANY original radiator EVER installed in a Corvette from 1953 right through 2011.
