1969 Exhaust Shielding

I have a 69 350/350 that I restoring. There was only 1 shield on the car when purchased. It has an L stamped on the tab below the bolt hole and a U inside of a circle on the edge where the bend starts. The reinforcing rib does not continue on the bend. I assume that this is a original shield and was looking for feedback to confirm. I have attached a picture of the shield that was on the car and another one that I picked up. Thanks for any comments.

I would say they are both originals. L and R is right and left.
