As many of you know from my earlier posts I'm building a tribute 1956 Sebring Corvette #1. I'm in the process of trying to find the closest Houdaille shock to that used by Frank Burrell when he ordered four A-11627 Special, and four A-11628 Special from Houdaille on March 12, 1956.
I've heard that the closest match is a 1946 Studebaker that has a similar appearance and lever arm as well as link. Trouble is, Studebaker had a Commander and Champion model as well as others.
Perhaps someone that has done this research can help me. I'm trying to finish the chassis and I'd also need any drawings that specify mounting location and axle mounting brackets.
Thanks for your help.
