56 horn pot metal

One of my horns is bent at the trumpet edge. How can I straighten it safely? I'm tempted to apply heat with a propane torch, but I don't know how much heat to apply.

I had a horn with a broken bell as well and the best suggestion I was given
was to fiberglass it. The pot metal will crack if you hit it. I have an excellent supplier for repair if you need one. Susan
