70 LT-1 motor in nova-anyone know where vette is??

posted on corvette forum, anyone know where 70 vette with vin 16957 is and wanting its org motor....pad reads..16957 vo706CTK, currently in a 68 nova and was placed there by owners dad in 71, vette supposedly got a big block. maybe car out there and can be reunited with its org motor.

It is not registered in the 1970 Corvette Registry but could still be out there as a survivor.

Try an on-line service that allows you to search for VIN numbers over various states. Remember that you need to search for both coupe and convertible VINs. I have a 70 350/350 engine and found a former owner of the car in Florida a couple of years ago this way.
