    T-Top Halo - flash chrome?

    I saw the other thread about polishing SS trim and flash chrome
    Is the T Top Halo flash chrome over Stainless steel?

      Flash chrome is used over stainless moldings stamped from thin sheet to give them a bluish cast to match the other chrome...otherwise, buffed stainless moldings will have a brownish cast.

      On earlier C3s, the side moldings at the rear of the T-top openings were cast pot metal. Cast pot metal is typically not flash chromed; it gets the regular chrome-nickel plating
