86 Power Seat Rocking

The seat rocks back and forth. I see that the loosen is in the mechanism that moves the front of the seat up and down. Any ideas to tighten? Thanks

My 85 has power seat but not problems yet. Looks to me in your second picture that something has busted off a metal piece.

Take the seat out of the car and get a good look at it. Replace or remove and weld the broken piece.

Gentleman,

Thank you for your responses; however, nothing needs welding. You are looking at the wrong part of the picture. There's a round bar that runs from side to side. Behind the cylinder is a gear mechanism that appears to raise and lower the seat. The mechanism acts as it's worn some. I wonder if anyone has replaced or rebuilt this part of the mechansim?
