Did Tonawanda ever work any Sundays?

Was wondering if they ever worked at Tonawanda on Sundays, I know Saturdays were not unusual. Just curious.

    Thanks,
    Steve

I think that Sundays had to be reserved for plant maintenance work so I don't think that manufacturing was performed on Sundays. Of course, for some very unusual reasons it might have happened once in awhile.

I have seen blocks with Sunday casting dates. Can't remember if they were Flint or Tonawanda blocks. Continous operation is probably the most practical way of running a foundry, so I would expect Sunday castings from both foundries.
