which wheel cylinder bleeder is correct for 60?

I have a 1960 and have managed to get a couple of NOS correct wheel cylinders for the rear and used correct cylinders for the front.

The NOS wheel cylinders have the hose connection tiped bleeder valves. Major vendors indicate the correct bleeder should be the one with the star washer and hex bolt.

I think I saw in one thread that the bolt with star washer was 58 and older and the hose tip type was introduced in 59.

Can anyone tell me what is correct for my 1960?

Donald, change over from the recessed hex head 1/4 inch bolt to the nipple bleeder occurred during 1959 year model IIRC. Sorry don't have a closer date than that. You could always check with Tim Mickey the Team Leader to be sure. Gary....

I will check with Tim, I will go with the nipple bleeders for my 60 unless I hear from Tim otherwise.

      Thanks,
