C2 door fiberglass

Am I missing a piece of fiberglass where the arrow points? The picture is of the inside of the door below the vent window frame. There is screw in this position, but the head of the screw does not mate to anything.

Yes sir, you have a case of glassus incompleatus. This is a very, very common area to break. Most of the time it seems that even from the factory they are broken there. I always reinforce them there when doing a mid year.

The screw at that location threads into the vent window frame and secures it to the door; see photo below, and UPC 1-Doors, sheet K14, item #13 in the Assembly Manual for the screw.

My -66 had a broken piece there and I JB welded it back in a few years ago and it is still attached.
