My 62 has been totally restored exept it has no horns, and I can't find any at a resenable price, was the 62 horn (on a corvette)used on any other vehicle produced by GM that I could scavenger from?

I have collected a bunch of 1962 and 1963 horns from various GM cars back in the 1980's when I owned a split window coupe (#1450, Oct. 1962). I believe the 1962 Corvette horns are "Corvette only" horns because of the bracket. The horns can be rebuilt and I'm sure you can make the "correct" brackets if you have a sample. If you have the horns rebuilt by the professions it will cost you big $.

FYI: I just had Ron Goralski rebuild my 62 horns and the quality of his work is fantastic!!!!! The cost was $80/horn which in my view is a great deal.

Ron did mine (62) a couple of years ago and used some parts from a pair of 63 Pontiac donors. Excellent work!Comment
