    Mecum auction Kissimee

Some more McDorman recycle cars at Mecum.

1972 Corvette #1 sold for $46,000 at Mcdormans, sold for $37,000 at Kissimee
1965 Corvette #1 $75,000 at McDormans, $67,000 at Kissimee NO SELL
1955 Corvette #2 $130,000 at McDormans, $150,000 at Kissimee NO SELL.

What looked like a well documented 61 Corvette race car went for $55,000 which seemed low for a high optioned racer.

with the price of collector cars and houses dropping it is allowing more people to buy in which is a good thing .the artificial inflation of the prices had driven younger less affluent buyers out of the market.

Seems like the car flippers are losing out. Overall good prices for buyers there, except that L88, that was very expensive. The amazing thing is more and more resto-mod C1s and C2s. And those wild customs with a Chevelle body on a C6, and the 2002 Camaro with a '69 Camaro body, outrageous stuff.

Probably the strangest car I saw under the Mecum tents was the Corvelle. Yes, you read it right: CORVELLE.
