C5 owners Help Again

I had asked about the Vin # on the engine block Tom Hendricks told me where to find the Vin# on the block. Does anyone have a picture of this info or what is on this pad? I am in the thinking of buying a 98 Pace Car and need to be sure it still has the original engine, any help would be appreciated.

Hey EV, Drop me the VIN of the pace car in a PM. I can run the service history of the car for you. I can see if the engine was ever replaced under warranty. I do not have a photo of the VIN of a 98 handy, but i believe the last 6 characters appear in the location I posted for you. Let me do a little searching to see if I can find you some info.

EV, Drop me your direct email address. I will forward the GM service document showing you the exact location on the primary and secondary engine ID location of the 98 LS1.
