Rear end of my 58 seems to checkout correct, 2 questions

Drivers side reads: F 18 8 (june 18th 58), 3275899 (open non posi), 27 was in the top drivers side not sure wht 27 stand for??

where the P should be on a posi unit mine has a " l " whats that stand for?

Passenger side reads: AH 7 10 (3.70, whats that date decode to?)

So, not sure of the " l " and the 7 10 date code.

wished it had been a lower gear but should be decent on the road

I believe the 7 10 is assembly month and day, i.e. July, 10th.

Ah ok I was curious since he F 18 8 was a date code too so thats the assembly date and the other is the cast date.

      gotcha, thanks
