    anyone at the Mecum auction in FL?

    I would be interested in hearing an opinion of the 69 L89 coupe being auctioned tomorrow. I am trying to get an idea of what my L89 convertible might be worth when it is done.

    Actually any info on L71 cars would be appreciated also.

    Thanks

    Mike,
    The results of the Mecum auction are posted on their web site. I would have to search for them using the usual search engines, as you can also do. Since I don't have a lot of interest in following auctions I will leave that research up to you.

      Mike;

      Just returned from there, and I may have seen the car of which you spoke as we were looking at tomorrows sales. This was the biggest auction I've seen, over 1600 cars - as far as your eye can see.

      The one I recall looked pretty good, but not outstanding. Was it a NCRS judged car or not?

        Thanks Stu, I have access to the prices but don't understand the differences between the cars. The gold L89 coupe went for $62K and the red L89 convertible went for $52k. It is not clear why the convertible was not worth more than the coupe. Were these Top Flight cars? Original drivetrains (they say "numbers matching). Any comments on the 435hp 68-69 cars would be appreciated. Mike
