    PVC hose routing

On a 327 350 hp what is the correct routing of the pcv
hose from the oil fill tube to the carb?
I just recieved one with the correct GM labeling on it and
remember seeing it wrapped around something in a photo,
not a direct run to he carb.
    Thanks,
    Karl

Looks like the car in the photo is missing the spring clamp at the oil fill tube.

          John,
In the picture the throttle return spring is through the rod. On my 67 L79 a cotter pin is in the rod and the spring is in the carb lever. I have seen this on many cars. Is this a safety issue. I lost a point in judging and was told it should be in the rod.
          Thanks,
          Bill

Cotter pins were never used in this application - the end of the spring goes through a hole in the rod, and the flange on the white nylon sleeve is always on the inboard side, toward the carburetor.
