    Whats a good spark plug to use in a 1969 427-390hp engine? Thanks for any info. Larry.....

      AC R-45XLS if the engine uses gasket spark plugs. i am not sure what year BBC switch to tapered seat plugs

          I would use a Champion RN14YC.

              1969 was the last year for gasketed plugs. For the most part, 1970's used the tapered seat plugs.
