    Cowl Vent Screens

Cowl Vent Screens used in 1975 were a wire mesh with provisions for bolting at front and back (A.I.M. UPC B01 sht 10) (See pics) In 1976 a plastic screen was introduced replacing the mesh screen. (A.I.M. UPC B01 sht 12). I believe it was released late in the 76 model year and I am not sure when it started showing up. 77's have the plastic screen. Could owners with 76's respond as to their particular version and their buld date?
    Thanks, AL

    Re: Cowl Vent Screens

I just bought a early '76 with a production date of October '75 - it has the mesh screens.
