1967 at Barrett-Jackson

I was at Barrett this weekend and there was a 67 435hp red on red conv. that said it was a restamp and also triple crown car. I know you can get by NCRS with a restamp but it is an automatic silver at Bloomington. I was at Bloomington two years ago and another red/red 435 conv. that got silver due to the stamp, same car? I beleive car brought over $200k this weekend as well.

I would say most HP BG Corvettes that got gold were restamped but were good enough to the known factory stamps & broach marks to pass. If you beleave all the L-88's,435,425, & FI engines were all original to that car I have some ocean front property in Indiana to sell you. NCRS will still give a gold if the loss of points on the pad dose not knock the car down to a second flight. As Jim said poitics & a GOOD restamp will pass.
