POR 15 will anyone have some 4sale at the NCRS show?

POR 15 will anyone have some 4sale at the NCRS show? I'm looking for some silver for inside my bumpers. Just had them restored from J&M restorations, they came out awesome. I'm going to do the inside bumper sections. thanks

John, I found a local auto parts store in my area that carries some of the POR products. You might check around - not Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Advance - those chain stores don't carry anything out of the norm. Otherwise you can order on line and have it in a less than a week. Pay shipping, but no tax. They kinda offset. -Dan-

p.s. FYI, POR stands for Paint over Rust.

Have you thought about how the POR will judge? Once you apply POR, it's not easy to remove...it may be tougher than powder coat.

          John,

Have you considered using Diamond Clear from Eastwood to protect the inside of your bumpers?

Thats also a great suggestion. I was planning on using the clear coat on shafts didn't think about bumpers. I just had the trim restored and I just want it to stay that way.

As someone who is going to be touching up the POR 15 on my engine today, I can tell you it is not ever remotely as tough as powder coat...

              I love powder coat....
