    Barret-Jackson TV Auction Commercials

Have you been watching the auction? As much as I like Corvettes I'm
getting pretty sick of that Corvette commercial. How many times do they
have to play it; sometimes twice in a row. I'm surprised Chevrolet is letting this happen. A lot of people are getting turned off on the Vette.IMHO

I get tired of the same ads too, however, I imagine that those of us that sit and watch this program for hours upon hours are actually in the minority, therefore, we are perhaps the only ones that see these ads so many times.

Let's hope that the advertising in a venue that's known to attract Corvette enthusiasts SELLS some Corvettes. Last year's sales were in the tank. Can't go on like this without expecting bad, bad things...

I actually like watching the ZR1 going sideways. It's alot better than all the testosterone enhancer commercials they keep running. I wonder why they run those during BJ

It is nice to see any performance car ad today.

There's one where a woman is getting aroused in the back seat of some old Chrysler and the man tells here something like "that is not vintage Chrysler activity." Reminds me of the one a few years ago where a woman is waiting on the front porch in high heels and her date stops his Porshe at end of the gravel driveway and they just look at each other. Sorry to say I don't remember what either commercial was advertising but they were funny.

I like the Corvette commercial, but they sure don't need to play it twice inside a single commercial break. I hate when they do that with any commercial.

            Insurance.

I don't mind it that much, I just wish it was a better looking car. The hood and front end is a wreck. That's what's going to impact sales.

You guys need a DVR. It will revolutionize the way you watch TV.

The whole B-J deal is a multi-hour long commercial interrupted by a few car auctions.

I gave up watching it a couple of years ago.

Watch it live on your computer. No commercials and see ALL the cars. Watching on TV is a joke.

What? WHAT? Geez, I hadn't thought of that. I have 17 guys coming today to party and watch the damn thing and drink a few adult beverages/eat like pigs. So I can stream it and plug the laptop into the TV to watch without breaks? Is it in HD? A compromise in picture quality might not be a fair trade for avoiding the commercials. After all, I guy's gotta take a bio break sometime, eh?

Gotta go. I'm gonna give this a try...

DVR it. Watch it when you want, zip through the commercials and the boring cars. Get up and get a drink when you want. You can also record as you watch and delay the playback, so you can edit out the commercials and still end the program on time. Watch an hour of TV in 20 minutes and not miss a thing.

You'll still miss the cars that are being auctioned off during those commercials.

I never get tired of seeing that "Rocket". Anyone who ever dreamed of owning a Corvette should look into buying one. Corvette sale are down so much (best deals ever right now) evey red blooded American boy & girl should consider buying one. Dreams sometimes do come true. Save the Wave. GM built 12,000 corvette in 2010 and that is 1/3 of what they have built in passed years. i hope they can continue to build them as i am only 77 and i need to buy a few more before i can't get into one.

I search the car list on the BJ website for only the cars I want to see. Got tired of watching SPEED, only to have them go to commercials when these cars were due up on the block. Now I just leave the live feed on my computer. No commercials and no inaccurate, boring commentary.

That's exactly what I do. You can figure 3-4 minutes per car so you'll have a rough idea of when to get back to the computer.
