    Courtesy Key-1995

I am going to try this one last time. Other than Tom Hendricks, can anyone positively tell me that they received a Courtsey Key with their 1995 Corvette. It is in the Judging Manual under center console items but no one can prove that it was included upon delivery. We believe it was sent to the customer at a later time.

I am attaching a photo of a 1995 Courtesy Key.

    Thanks

I know you said "other than me", but I can tell you.......................... I delivered / sold over 100 95 Corvettes myself and this item was not in a new Corvette when it arrived here at the dealership or when I delivered one.

Charlie, I know you asked about 95s but I thought I'd chime in and say I never received such a key for my 96 I bought new - even though the manual says all 94-96 Vettes came with them.

I have discussed this with Pat ( Charlie ) before and told him of my 96 Impala SS I bought new and still have. I did receive a courtesy key in the mail shortly after delivery. I still have the envelope and contents of that mailer. I can't recall if the Corvette owners got them in 96 or not. I would think they should have.

Pat and Tom, thanks for your responses. I was trying to help another member who got a deduct last year at Kissimmee for no Courtesy Key.
He is back again this year trying to get a high enough score for his next step up the ladder.

          Thanks again

Hi Charlie, Here's a pic of my 2 Courtesy Keys for my 1995 Corvette (uncut) and a couple other items from my Corvette. I believe they came in the mail. Rewrite the manual.

The 3 white items in George's picture came with the car. The one is the card the PKE transmitter was on ( one transmitter per car in 95. ), the other is the PKE transmitter on / off instructions ( actually a sticker that was to be placed on the inside of the console lid. ) and the other is the parking brake handle label. The brake lever tag should have been left on by the dealer for the new owner. ( I always left it on )

I got a extra door lock key with my new 1996 LT4 I bought in June 1996. I don't remember now how I lost it or where. Do remember it was lost in the first few years of ownership.

Again, thanks to all of you that have responded. Not only did George show us TWO keys, but the parking brake sleeve that has come into question before.
