Latest update on Windage tray Pt#3927136,and studs Pt#3872718. The trays are still available @$28.13 and the studs temporarily not.The studs when available again (check back mid February)will be $14.63 each. OUCH! They are packaged in multi packs of two,so you'll have to buy 6.

Whoops, I switched sides with the pans when I turned them around. The SHP pan is now on the left below. Sorry for the switch.

And this is the pickup screen (with long tube) for the oil pump, which goes with the SHP long sump pan.
      Tom,

Is your "stock type pass car pan" from a 1968 Chevrolet, Chevelle, or Camaro? It looks like a GM pan # 3937914 used only in 1968.

        Dave,
I don't remember for sure what it came off of. I've disassembled and built so many engines over the past 40+yrs, that so many things just run together any more.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, last week I ordered 6 from gmpartsdirect and they arrived today, $7.68ea. But oh, I forgot, NCRS guys like to pay full list price so they can brag about how much they spent on their Corvette.

              Tom,

Based on your photos your "stock type pass pan" does look like a 1968 ONLY oil pan (GM # 3937914). If you post a photo of the side view or send me a PM I can tell you for sure. The 3937914 oil pan is the same as the very rare 1968 Z28 (302) oil pan (GM #3927134) EXCEPT for the baffles inside the pan.
The 1968 pans have a unique profile and owners of 68 Z28's may have an interested as I have found out.

                http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/

If you have the part number for the part you want, just plug it into the box at the upper left corner. If the part is available, it will give you the list and discount prices. If it is no longer available, it will tell you there is no listing for the part. Go through the order process if you want to purchase.
YES, there are handling/shipping charges, BUT, the bottom line is almost always less than the list price + tax at your local Chevy parts dept.
                Tooooooooooooooo easy, Toooooooooooooooo cheap!

Thanks much for the heads up on the gmpartsdirect. Went there ,punched in #3872718 and got a price of $13.26. My question is that for one or the multi pack of two? Ain't this site great?
                  Thanks

The price is for ONE but you have to purchase TWO (or multiples of two). That's because the studs are supplied by GM in a package of two and GM Parts Direct does not stock the part so they do not want to sell you one and have one left over to put in stock. Just about any GM dealer that does not stock a particular item which you wish to order will require that you purchase the entire package quantity. These days most GM dealers stock VERY FEW parts so you'll run into this situation a lot.
