Can anyone tell me what the original glass reflection looks like on an original C1 side view mirror?
As I recall, it is one of the following when an object is touched directly on the surface of the glass:
1. The reflection of the object appears at the surface of the glass (i.e. the object is touching itself).
2. The reflection of the object appears below the surface of the glass (i.e. the object is sunk into the glass).
Dale Pearman explained this to me many years ago, but I can't remember what he said. If it matters,
Dale was demonstrating with a 1962 side view mirror.
